Pre-Op tomorrow!!!!

I go for my pre-op tomorrow!  I have to be at the hospital at 7am bright eyed and bushy tailed!!!  Then I have an appointment with my NUT.  (I have so been ready to write that.  It is so cute!!!!  I thought everyone meant the psych dr at first--silly me).  After all that I get to pay and find out exactly what time my surgery is!! 

It is now beginning to be such a reality and quickly approaching!!!  I decided today to take the day before my surgery off to get everything resolved!!! 

I have a WLS partner!!  Kelly on the boards here and I have the same day!!  So how is that for being able to walk the walk with someone that is on the same time frame as you?  Cool~~  I wonder how differently we will progress? 

At any rate I appreciate everyone on here and value everyone's comments, input, and friendship.  This is truely an amazing bunch of people on here!!!

That is great to have someone with the same date to talk to about everything that is happening.. And to see what the differences are between docs.  Just don't compare weight loss to each other because everyone will lose differently.

Can't wait to see you soon.

Nah I wish you the best tomorrow. I think taking the day before is a great idea, gives you time for last minute things. I hope you will have your shopping done before. I am finishing up this weekend. I don't want to have to worry about any last minute things to get done. Luckily I am not cooking at home this year. Not that I would want to but anyway. How many times have you heard are you crazy just before Christmas???? I am so sick of hearing it..
It will definitely be interesting to see how we progress.  You also find out what time tomorrow do you not????? Well good luck tomorrow and let me know how it went.

Woohoo, Pam!!!  Wait to be amazed at how quick and smooth everything will go tomorrow.  They have it all down to a science.  :) 

It is the nurse at the hospital that will tell you first thing tomorrow morning your time for surgery.  Don't get out of there without having her tell you exactly.  (She'll tell you your arrival time, so be sure to ask what your actual surgery time is.) 

I thought the same as you about the nut...it just had to be the psych, right?!  lol  We have the most awesome nut...Becky.  She is such a beautiful person, inside and out.  She has such a neat style too...if I were ever her size, I'd love to raid her closet!  (NOT happening since I am taller!)

I think it's a great idea to take the day off before surgery.  You'll have a great partner in Kelly.  As Shelia said, don't let comparisons discourage either one of you though.  We all progress so differently!

My surgery is actually on Wednesday, December 17th!  Two weeks from today!!! 

Yes!  I will see you on the 13th at the coffee shop and then come visit you at the hospital on the 18th!  Can hardly wait!

Thanks for the well wishes!  I talked with Jennifer today and she is coming down on Thursday too.  I think Shauna said she was coming down on Thursday before the support group meeting.  I can't wait to see you guys!!!! 

But I will see you on the 13th at the Coffee shop!!!!!

I have finished my shopping!  And I never cook! 

It is very funny that people ask me too....why are you doing this at Christmas? Are you crazy?  And I always reply......Nope!!!! I could not get a better present!!!  (well, maybe a big hug from my little boy)!!!!
